Living Spirit offers a range of one day workshops and has also offered its facilities for visiting tutors.

As we are currently going through a period of change, our Autumn and Winter programme will be a small one in various local venues in South Devon. Click on our 'news and updates' tab at the side of each page, which links to the Living Spirit blog page. To receive information as soon as it becomes available, you can subscribe on that page and the latest posts will be sent directly to your inbox.

Living Spirit organises The Devon Kabbalah Group, which is a peer based, collaborative spirirtual study and practice group, facilitated by Joyce King and Sam Wernham, who are both tutors with The Kabbalah Society. We take an open, interfaith approach, while respecting both the Jewish traditions and Christian dimensions of Kabbalah, and emphasise the Way of Kabbalah as a process of clarifying essential spiritual principles that can then be practically applied to daily life.

In 2011 there are two ongoing, fortnightly South Devon study groups which currently meet on Tuesday mornings and Wednesday evenings. Please click here for more details.

From September 21st we are starting a new series of 6 study sessions on Wednesday evenings from 7-9pm.

After a successful day in May with Peter Brennan on ‘The Vale of Soul Making’ we have another course with him on Saturday November 19th. This time we'll be visiting 'Eternity's Sunrise' with the poetry of Blake. On October 8th Jonathan Clark will also be coming to Devon to offer a workshop on Kabbalah and Astrology. In the late Autumn of 2010 Sue and Sam midwifed the birth of a new Women's Mystery School called Wood Sisters. At Samhain, the Winter Solstice and beyond, up to 20 wonderful women came together in the Totnes area to explore myth & story, meditation & simple ritual, sacred time in nature and more!

Our final celebration for this year is on Sunday 25th September for the Autumn Equinox. A new cycle starts from our Samhain celebration on the 5th November.

Over the last year we welcomed a number of visiting tutors and groups to our previous Devon retreat centre at Bonehill House, which they used as a base for their own spiritual, complementary health or creative workshops.

Although we are currently taking a break from hosting visiting tutors, we look forward to more creative collaboration in the future, as shown in this selection of photos from over the last year…
