There are currently three local groups associated with Living Spirit that meet fortnightly and seasonally and are open to new members. They run on a donation basis.
an wholistic
approach to
spirituality
and reflective
living
The emphasis in these groups is on an wholistic approach to spirituality and reflective living - they are not primarily intended for emotional support or therapeutic process or only as intellectual discussion groups and, as peer groups, members need to have some experience and maturity in mutual listening and some capacity to balance openess and honesty with self mediation and restraint.

The Circle is a fortnightly, Thursday morning group for women, drawing inspiration from celtic spirituality and from the seasonal rhythm of the natural world.
We are a collaborative peer group - sharing meditations, myth and story and our own experience of living through and reflecting on the natural cycles of life. We blend times of quiet with study, sharing, creativity and being outside in nature.
reflecting on
the natural
cycles of life
Our meetings take place within an awareness of the celtic eightfold festival year and we also try to gather around these festival times and include our families, friends and neighbours for seasonal celebrations full of creativity, fun and feasting!

drawing
out essential
spiritual
principles
We aim to blend study, discussion and practical exercises and take an open approach that respects the Jewish traditions of Kabbalah and its Christian dimensions. Our main emphasis is on drawing out essential spiritual principles that anyone can practically apply to daily life.

Introducing ‘Wood Sisters’
Living Spirits Sue and Sam are co ordinating a new and evolving ‘Modern Mystery School for Women’ called Wood Sisters. Since last Autumn up to 20 women have been meeting for one day gatherings based on the seasonal and sacred pattern of the eightfold year. Each day is a rich blend of myth & storytelling, meditation & simple ritual, time for being outside & for natural crafts and delicious bring and share feasts!
Our final celebration for this year is on Sunday 25th September for the Autumn Equinox. A new cycle starts from our Samhain celebration on the 5th November. Please contact Sue on 01548 521207 or Sam on 01803 865199 and visit our online journal for photos and reflections from previous gatherings.
